“Let’s get ready to rumble as Pretty Boy Floyd enters the ring!” Praised as one of the greatest boxers of all time and ranked by ESPN as the greatest pound for pound boxer of the last 25 years, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has an incredible success story both in and out of the ring. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mayweather’s mother was addicted to drugs and his father was incarcerated for a majority of his childhood, but that didn’t stop the young boy from dreaming big. Inspired by his father and uncle who were professional boxers, Mayweather was only seven years old when he put on his first pair of boxing gloves. By his teens, he had already dropped out of high school to pursue boxing full time—a decision that forever changed his life.

Spending the last two decades living the dream and building his reputation as “Pretty Boy” and “Money,” Mayweather is undefeated in the ring as a five-division world champion with 12 world titles in four different weight classes. Now retired and working as a boxing promoter, the 39-year-old is considered a living legend in the industry after bringing in $1.3 billion in revenue from his fights, which led Forbes to list him as one of the highest paid athletes two years in a row in 2014 and 2015. So how much is he worth and what does he do with his wealth?

Worth an estimated $400 million and known for his expensive tastes and outrageous spending, Mayweather undeniably loves the perks of living lavishly especially after not having very much growing up, which is exactly what led the famous lightweight fighter to drop $7.7 million in cash on a waterfront property in Miami Beach. Hey, they don’t call him “Money” for nothing!

Located at 5501 Pinetree Drive and stretching across 5,200 square feet with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, Mayweather’s home is ultra-modern with a stone façade that offers plenty of curb appeal with simple landscaping featuring palm trees and stunning exterior lighting that illuminates the front of the home’s array of windows. The interior of the home is just as magnificent with a kitchen featuring marble floors, an oversized farm sink and stainless appliances all of which overlook a dazzling view of the pool and the city skyline. Every bedroom features walk-in closets and king sized beds with Mayweather’s master suite being extra special since it houses his portable Gucci trunk that cost him an upwards of $45,000.

As for the outside, Mayweather spared no expense in creating the ultimate entertaining space for his guests with the back of the home made entirely of windows and offering both a second floor and rooftop balcony for pristine views of the city. The ten-foot fence lines the perimeter and ensures privacy from the neighbors while a glass wall offers a seamless view from the heated infinity pool that sits only steps away from the house and features a walkway that divides the cool waters from the bubbling spa. But, guess again if you think this is the Olympic bronze medalist’s only home.

In addition to his Miami mansion, Mayweather spends the majority of his time in Las Vegas, Nevada where his 22,000 square foot custom built home offers more than enough room for the knockout champion with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Housing Mayweather’s $15 million collection of cars that include a Bugatti, three Rolls Royces and a Lamborghini Aventador, the home even has its own Instagram account to show off its lavish accessories such as the Fendi living room furniture, the master bedroom’s suede walls, a two-level movie theater and a glass display case filled with Mayweather’s prized championship belts.

Living up to his reputation as a big spender, Mayweather decided his “Big Boy Mansion” in Sin City and his lavish Malibu getaway wasn’t enough in 2015 and dropped $1.81 million on a penthouse above the Palms Place on the Las Vegas Strip. Located on the 55th floor of the high rise where walls of glass offer gorgeous views of the Strip and the valley, the stunning penthouse boast 3,142 square feet with two bedrooms and two full baths with custom lighting, hardwood floors and a master suite that includes a fireplace and an oversized tub perfect for soaking after a high profile night in the ring.

With yet another penthouse in Florida and one at the Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. Live, Mayweather may be spending his fortune faster than he’s bringing it in. Whatever the case, we expect he’ll make his way back into the ring for a second comeback sometime soon. After all, how else can he afford $1,000 haircuts a few times a week, Fendi furniture and mortgages around the country?
